⚖️ Cabinet de La Hanse joins Communications Européennes
This is our big news at the start of summer 2025: Cabinet de La Hanse, which specialises in legal and financial translation, and its team of a project manager and a project management intern, have officially joined the offices that are already home to Communications Européennes and Sarthe Traduction Interprétation in the La Madeleine district of Paris! This is an excellent opportunity to combine synergies and share best practices in project management, software use, and customer and translator/interpreter relations. And, of course, to strengthen the skills of our now larger team.
🎢A look back at an exciting team-building day!
What better way to welcome our two new colleagues from Cabinet de La Hanse than with a team-building day? After a quick breakfast at the office, the team headed to the Jardin d’Acclimatation in Paris for a day of relaxation and… pushing themselves to the limit for some! It was a beautiful sunny day and we enjoyed roller coasters, rides, virtual experiences and a Chair-O-Plane ride, not to mention a ride in a pedalo, an Italian lunch and an ice cream break.
☀️And finally, a little seasonal anecdote… did you know?
In English, the expression ‘dog days of summer’ refers to the hot, sultry days we experience in summer. The expression, like the word ‘canicule’ (heatwave) in French, comes from the Latin canicula, which means ‘puppy’! This is because the star Sirius, in the constellation Canis Major, rises and sets at the same time as the Sun between June and September, which is summer in the Northern Hemisphere.
