Our partnership with CLAP takes a step forward

By now, we hardly need to introduce CLAP, the Paris Chamber of Legalisation and Apostille? Our collaboration has reached a new milestone now that we have moved into the ‘key account clients’ category. What does this mean? It means priority processing of our applications, with the possibility of significantly reducing certain processing times, subject to an additional fee. We are delighted with this development, which enables us to respond more quickly and better support our clients with their apostille and legalisation procedures.

From one side of the Mediterranean to the other: one same feeling, two different perspectives

With the arrival of the warm weather, let’s take a look at a well-known expression: ‘This news has warmed my heart’, which in Arabic is translated as هذا الخبر قد أثلج صدري, meaning literally ‘This news has refreshed my heart’. It is a beautiful illustration of the richness of languages and their cultural nuances: for us, warmth is spontaneously associated with comfort and well-being; conversely, in other cultures where it can be more intense, even suffocating, it is coolness that symbolises calm and relief. The same feeling, but expressed differently depending on where you are!

In Brazil, it’s the pecuárias season

When we think of Brazil, we often picture the colours of Carnival, samba dancing and huge public festivals. But there’s more to Brazilian culture than this world-famous image of revelry. From May onwards, the country enters the pecuárias season, a time of big agricultural celebrations deeply rooted in local traditions. These are mainly held in states such as Goiás, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso and São Paulo, and are a key feature of local life right through to September. Highlights include country fairs, livestock shows, concerts by Brazil’s biggest artists and, above all, a truly convivial atmosphere. We could always swap the glitz of Carnival for our finest cowboy hats and set off to discover another side of Brazil?!
